I’ve seen a few key-like phone chargers and Bluelounge’s Kii is by far the best I’ve seen. Keys are usually something we all carry and being able to charge your lightning device while on the go and never forgetting your connector even if you tried has been the most convenient thing since my car alarm ( I tend to need to set off my alarm to find where I parked – no judgment).

Kii is a compact charger-connector that fits on a keychain with the rest of your keys. It’s dual-sided: one end is an Apple connector to connect to your iPhone, iPad or iPod and the other is a USB to plug directly in to your laptop Making the ability to charge convenient, accessible and mobile. Kii is as lightweight as any other key and allows you to plug in to charge or sync devices from any computer without having to carry a charger or tote around a cable connector.

KII-4

Kii is great to have in case of emergencies and is ideal for traveling, eliminating the need to pack an additional cable or adapter.

Available in Black or White. The review unit sent over is white but is actually gray, silver and white but still blends in nicely with my house keys. It draws no extra attention except when people are close enough to see the BL (blueLounge) on the casing and have questions. When I open show the retractable lightning connector I am met with oooh’s and ahh’s like I’ve done a magic trick.

Kii is available in a 30-pin and Lightning version. The 30-pin is available for $19.95 and the Lightning version is available for $39.95

KII-2

As convenient as the Kii is and as much as I love it – I can’t say I can suggest it’s worth $40. It depends on the buyer I suppose – I’m the type to pay $40 for something like this because I’m all about convenience and mobility and my iPhone is constantly threatening to die on me and I tend to forget my chargers but always have a wall adapter in my bag. Go figure.
