Astro Gaming is one of those companies that we are big fans of here at G Style Magazine. We came across them back in 2010 and it has been beautiful friendship with us and Astro Gaming. They have come out with many incredible like refinements to the A40 and the introduction to the A50 wireless line. But for us it all started with the A30!, we did have a G Style Magazine branded pair of A30s in the office (Apart of our G Style Collection). So when the we got the word that they was going wireless with this style, you can imagine us being just a tad bit excited!
With the Astro Gaming A38, they have a form similar to the A30s, with some changes to the ear and headband padding. The most noticeable difference would be the complete lack of wires as Astro Gaming has added in Bluetooth and active noise canceling tech inside. When the A38s retail this coming September or October, they will run for $229. But if you just can’t wait until then, you cna try and get access to their A38 Beta Program. You’ll be able to buy a pre-production model which is fully capable for $119.99. You’ll get to use this device and help give feedback to shape the final product. Which sounds a lot like how Google is doing with its Glass Explorer program, but instead of upping the price, Astro Gaming has lowered it. Now a bad deal at all!
