batterybot

We’ve talked about Mimoco before and their very popular line of designer USB flash drives, the MIMOBOT. In fact, I’m pretty sure everyone on our staff has at least one MIMOBOT in their collection to hold all their valuable files in style. Mimoco is now branching off into other areas and their latest project is a designer USB mobile device chargers, aka battery backups. As you know, traditional portable battery backup units have always been quite plain-Jane and boring. None really have much style to them and that’s understandable considering what they are used for. Mimoco is going to change all that with the introduction of their new MimoPower BatteryBots.

Like their popular MIMOBOT line, BatteryBots will be a character based solution to an otherwise boring product genre. These are designer mobile device chargers that will at first feature 10 unique character designs. The battery backup unit will be rated at 5200mAh or higher depending on the initial funding and be powered by rechargeable Li-ion battery. Each device will be able to power most popular devices out there including iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
