Demetria McKinney most know to many and definitely to me (I had no idea she was a singer too) as Janine from Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne” TV show definitely has a few more tricks up her sleeve than just acting. Off her upcoming EP “Officially Yours”, she has release her first single “Work With Me”.
Let’s face in most songs by women artists in the R&B arena don’t really pain men in a pleasing light. Most time we have done wrong, hurt someone or just flat out made out to be dogs who will hunt down anything. Interesting take on this song from Demetria where we acknowledges flaws on the other side of the token, and asking her man to stay with her through it all. I think it is nice to see other side and see an admittance of not being perfect and hope we stay as well than just threatening to leave.
