When it comes to true “live blogging” it is usually either via photos or video streaming from a big media company. Now Sony has released a “flip Cam” type of video camera, called the “Bloggie Live HD Camera, it’s a dream come through for bloggers. The tag line of the Bloggie Live is “share life as it happens with full HD MP4 video, built in WiFi and 12.8P stills”. By looking at the camera in person at CES before it. Public release in retail is at end of January of 2012. I’d say it is an awesome live blogging, event sharing, life spotlighting must have gadget in 2012.

Want to shot video and photos on one gadget? Bloggie Live boasts a 12.8mp camera and in video shots Full HD MP4. With an 8gb internal hard drive it can hold in full HD mode (1080p) 1.15 hours of video, in 720p at 60fps holds 2.15 hours and in 720p at 30fps holds 3.10 hours of video. To shooting, 4x digital zoom and Auto-Marco for versatile shooting. For the right look of the video, Bloggie Live has the Sony Exmor CMOS sensor and Face Detention technology.

What makes this camera so great is the WiFi that allows uploading (aka sharing) or live streaming through Quik. With a captive 3.0 touchscreen LCD screen and slide operation. Bloggie Live is Mac & PC compatible. Also you can sync video and photos with Sony’s PlayMemories Online.

One of my favorite features that is super useful is the LED light for low-light shooting. Also like most Sony camera and video products, Bloggie Live has SteadyShot image stabilization. Flip out USB arm is built in for charging and upload as well built-in rechargeable battery and HDMI output.

Priced at $250, the Sony Bloggie Live pocket camcorder will be available in January, right after CES.
